Qualifying from a Fereneze event junior member Lewis Rennie took part in the inaugural Road to the Home of Golf event at St Andrews.
Clearly inspired by the historic surroundings and the autumn sunshine Lewis recorded his best ever score, a 77 for 46 stableford points, 46 points!! The remarkable thing is that didn’t win, it wasn’t even 2nd but a superb 4th place from a field of 60. Lewis’s playing partner won the event with 50 points.
It was a family affair for the weekend and dad Stewart said they were really well looked after, with family members able to play the Balgove all weekend.
